How do I use the AI Instructor Finder?

The AI Instructor Finder is a mode on the Instructor Directory. Open /instructors and tap Ask AI — or go straight to /instructors?ai=open.

Describe the instructor you want

Type what you're after in plain language. Examples that work well:

• "English-speaking freestyle instructor in Whistler"
• "BASI-certified instructors for advanced skiers in Chamonix"
• "Off-piste specialist in the French Alps"
• "Kids ski instructor who speaks German"
• "Independent ski instructor near Val d'Isère"
• "Top-rated snowboard coach in Japan"

Voice input is available if you'd rather speak than type — tap the microphone icon next to the input.

What the AI considers

The AI reads your query and narrows the directory by any of these signals if you mention them:

• Country, resort, or ski domain — where you're skiing
• Language — what you want your lessons taught in
• Specialty — off-piste, freestyle, racing, kids, first-timers, advanced coaching, and more
• Certification — BASI, CSIA, PSIA-AASI, IASI, Diplôme d'État, and the 15 other governing bodies on the platform
• Ability level — the levels an instructor is set up to teach

Results come back ranked, with a short note on why each instructor made the shortlist. A summary line shows which filters the AI applied — if it misread you, tap Clear AI and the filter rail returns to how it was before.

Each instructor profile in the results has everything you need to decide — qualifications, specialties, languages, reviews, and availability. Bookings go directly to the instructor's diary and payment flows straight to their own Stripe account. We never hold your money.
