What information can the FASS assistant use, and does it update?

The assistant retrieves public catalogue records and published role-appropriate Help Centre guides; it is not automatically trained on every platform page.

Quick answer

Ask FASS searches live published listings, Help Centre guides and eligible public blog articles when relevant. New eligible listings and published guides become available under the normal update rules without retraining, but drafts, withheld articles and every platform workflow are not automatically included.

What information can the FASS assistant use, and does it update?

Ask FASS retrieves public school, instructor, resort and lesson information through the platform's existing search services. It can retrieve published role-appropriate Help Centre guides and use reviewed steps for supported account tasks. When requested and permitted, it can read limited information about your own bookings or the school records needed for a supported action. School/instructor articles are retrieved only for the matching signed-in role or Admin; public help never grants access to private records.

FASS does not offer accommodation listings or accommodation booking. The assistant cannot find available hotels, chalets or apartments through FASS, and a resort or school search is not an accommodation search. It can help you explore the resort, schools, instructors and lessons that are available on the platform. Arrange accommodation separately with an appropriate provider.

Does new information appear automatically?

A newly approved or published listing can become available through the normal public search updates. A newly published Help Centre guide can be retrieved on a relevant search. Neither requires training the model again, but existing caches, language and search matching affect when and whether a record is selected. It will not cite every relevant article in every answer.

Eligible published blog/editorial articles can be searched by topic or title. The assistant returns short excerpts and can offer to open the real article; it rechecks public publication and editorial safety before returning it. Existing caches can affect freshness. Drafts, private records and withheld safety articles are excluded. Every dashboard screen and new feature is not automatically indexed: the team must still maintain accurate help and verified instructions.

If an answer seems outdated

Open the linked guide or listing and compare it with the current screen. Ask the assistant to check the relevant Help Centre instructions rather than guess. Use Support or Contact to report a mismatch with the page and task involved. Never send a password or verification link.

Retrieving maintained information is different from training models on your chat. FASS does not use live-assistant conversations for model training; see conversation privacy.

Saved preferences and preview access

After AI consent, signed-in recommendations can automatically use minimal saved name, self-reported activity/ability and piste comfort, up to eight current public favourites per kind and limited completed-booking aggregates. These are not verified skill or personal ski time, and your current request takes precedence. Guests, demos and support impersonation receive no real-account preferences. See saved preferences.

A private preview uses a browser-bound access cookie for at most 72 hours; authorised QA demos have a separate at-most-three-hour workspace cookie. Neither cookie alone gives AI consent or extra data rights. Grant metadata contains hashes and dates, not raw link tokens, and terminal grants are removed after 24 hours by maintenance. These are not stored conversations or a self-service temporary-account feature.
