Check consent, microphone permission, connection and allowance before reconnecting. Use text or ordinary search when voice is unavailable, and retain any support reference if the problem persists.
Quick answer
Read the assistant's notice, check AI & Chatbot consent and your allowance, and try text if voice fails. For microphone or connection errors, restore permission or connectivity before reconnecting. Check the saved result before repeating an account change.
Read the notice in Ask FASS first. Check AI & Chatbot in privacy choices and your remaining trial or account credits. If voice cannot connect, try a typed question. Ordinary search and the Help Centre remain available without AI.
If the panel says Voice is currently unavailable. You can still type, use text. If both modes are unavailable, use the directories and guides; changing microphone permissions cannot repair a platform service outage.
After 90 seconds without meaningful conversation activity, voice pauses and offers Continue voice or End voice. Without a choice for another 30 seconds, it disconnects. Maximum call duration and server usage limits also apply.
Review the displayed allowance. Reconnecting does not reset a guest trial, and a new connection can carry another configured charge for a signed-in account. Silence and mute while connected count towards voice use. See allowances and credits.
A navigation offer, an AI explanation and a saved account change are different actions. Only supported changes provide an exact preview and Confirm change button; saying yes in voice does not submit them. A preview can expire or become outdated if the record changes. Request a fresh preview after checking the current record.
If an account change, lesson draft or reschedule reports an error after confirmation, check the actual profile, lesson list or booking before repeating it. An interrupted response alone does not establish whether a write completed. The assistant cannot bypass permissions, conflicts, verification or payment restrictions. Use the ordinary editor when the task is unsupported.
Download any conversation text you need from the assistant's settings before resetting or leaving the page. Resetting clears conversation context; it does not undo saved actions, restore credits or repair service configuration.
If the same problem remains after resolving the relevant check, open Support, or Contact if you cannot sign in. Include whether you used text or voice, the page, approximate time, browser/device, exact error wording and any Support reference shown. A reference helps support trace the failed operation; it is not a promise that a ticket was created automatically. Never send passwords, codes, API keys or private conversation exports unless an appropriate secure support process requests them.
