Open your dashboard, find the upcoming lesson, and tap Cancel. The provider's policy determines any refund. When the provider approves an online-payment refund, Find a Ski School executes it through Stripe.
Quick answer
Open your dashboard, find the lesson under Upcoming Bookings, and tap Cancel. The provider's policy and expected refund are shown before confirmation. The provider reviews the request; once approved, Find a Ski School creates the Stripe refund to the original payment method.
Open your student dashboard at /dashboard, find the lesson under Upcoming Bookings, and tap Cancel. Before you confirm the cancellation, you'll see the school's cancellation policy and what it entitles you to based on how close to the lesson date you are.
When you open the cancel dialog, you'll see:
Once you confirm, the cancellation is recorded and the provider is notified. The provider's published policy determines what you are entitled to, and the provider approves or declines the request. For an online card payment, Find a Ski School then creates the refund through Stripe to the original payment method. On a Connect destination charge, Stripe reverses the provider transfer and returns the related FASS application fee where applicable.
Two dates matter, and they're different:
If a provider declines a request that its published policy appears to allow, contact it first with your booking reference. If it does not engage, contact FASS support so we can review the recorded policy and refund status. We cannot approve a refund outside the provider's lesson terms. You may also ask your card issuer about its dispute process; Stripe decides disputes on the online charge.
Each ski school sets its own cancellation terms — they're shown on the school's profile and again when you book, and they form the contract between you and the school. Most schools follow a tiered approach: full refund if you cancel well in advance, partial refund within a few days of the lesson, and no refund inside a short window before the lesson.
Find a Ski School does not override a provider's cancellation policy. We display the terms, record the request and execute an approved online refund through Stripe; the provider still decides entitlement under the lesson contract.
The platform doesn't have a one-click reschedule yet. To change a date or time, contact the school directly — their email and phone are on their profile. Most schools can move your booking to a different slot if they have availability, especially if you give them reasonable notice.
If you booked directly with a school (by phone, email, or on their own website) rather than through our platform, your booking isn't in our system and we can't cancel it for you. Contact the school directly to cancel.
If conditions make the lesson unsafe, the school decides whether to cancel it — not Find a Ski School. Most schools reschedule weather-cancelled lessons or offer a full refund. Check the school's policy on their profile, or reach out directly if you have questions.
