How do I compare weather across different resorts?

Open Compare Weather at /compare-weather. Search for a resort by name, add it to the comparison, and repeat for up to 3 resorts total. The page updates as you add each one, so you can see current conditions across several mountains at a glance.

What you'll see for each resort

• Current conditions — temperature, wind speed and direction, humidity, and the current snow depth at the resort
• Ski condition rating — a quick read of how the current weather stacks up for skiing
• Avalanche and weather alerts — if the resort has any active warnings, they appear at the top of its column
• 3-day forecast — expected temperature, snowfall and weather icon for the next three days
• Sunrise and sunset times — for planning early or late sessions
• Altitude — so you can read the forecast against the resort's elevation

You can toggle between metric and imperial units at the top of the page.

Where it's useful

• Last-minute trip planning — picking between two resorts based on which is getting better snow
• During your trip — comparing your home resort with neighbouring mountains on a day with patchy conditions
• Lesson day decisions — working out whether to push ahead, delay, or switch to a lower-altitude option

Sharing a comparison

A Share button copies a link to the comparison. Send it to the people you're skiing with so everyone's looking at the same data before you decide where to go.

From weather to lessons

Once you've picked the resort, tap its name in the comparison to open the resort page — from there you can see every ski school and instructor teaching at that mountain.
