How do I browse ski resorts?

Open the Resorts Directory at /resorts. You can search by name, filter by what the resort offers, or explore a country page to see every resort in one place.

What you can filter by

• Country — pick one of the countries we cover
• Resort type — main resort, indoor snow centre, or dry slope
• Snow depth — set a minimum to find resorts with the best current conditions
• Slopes kilometres — set a range so you're not looking at tiny hills when you want a big linked area (or vice versa)
• Minimum altitude — useful late in the season when snow reliability matters
• Ability level — beginner, intermediate or advanced, based on how a resort's terrain is rated
• Family-friendly, off-piste, après-ski — toggles to filter for the experience you want
• Sort by snow depth — put the snowiest resorts at the top

What a resort page tells you

Every resort page shows the altitude (summit and base), total slope kilometres, number of lifts, and overall rating. An interactive map shows you exactly where it is. Most resort pages also carry an editorial guide written for that specific mountain — what it's known for, who it suits, when to go, and what to expect on the slopes.

Scroll down on any resort page and you'll see every ski school and instructor who teaches there — so once you've picked your mountain, finding your lesson is the next tap.
