How do I find and use Help Centre articles?

Search the Help Centre by task, choose the relevant audience and open guides without needing AI consent.

Quick answer

Open /help, search for the task and select an article. Choose the relevant audience if results are too broad. Read the quick answer and steps, then follow the linked platform page; AI help is optional.

How do I find and use Help Centre articles?

Open the Help Centre. Enter a task such as “change profile photo”, “cancel a booking” or “book for children”. Choose the audience that fits your task, or All for a broader view, and browse the relevant category.

Open an article and start with its quick answer, then follow the detailed steps and links. Check that a guide is for your account role; a school's dashboard controls differ from a learner's. Reading ordinary guides does not require AI consent or microphone access.

Optional AI help

When enabled, Ask FASS can retrieve published guides appropriate to your role and offer supported navigation. Provider-only guidance requires the matching signed-in role; an article never grants permission to private records. You can also use the article's Use your own AI assistant card to open a prepared prompt in an external AI service. That card shares the public guide link, not your account access. Review the prompt before sending.

Dashboard setup plans and tours also provide Helpful guides for the selected step. Get help with this step is a separate, optional AI explanation: a successful answer costs one AI credit and does not carry out an account change. See setup plans and step help.

If instructions do not match

Check the article's task and your current page first. Some controls depend on sign-in, permissions, provider settings or a booking's status. Do not assume a missing control means the account is broken. Contact Support, or Contact if you cannot sign in, with the guide title, page and what differs.
