How can I exchange points for AI credits?

Reward points convert to AI credits at 1:1, up to 10,000 per redemption. Exchanged credits land in your top-up pool, are spent last (after monthly and welcome credits), and never expire.

Quick answer

Open Rewards from your dashboard, find the AI credits tile, enter how many points you want to swap (max 10,000), and confirm. Credits arrive in your top-up balance immediately and never expire.

How can I exchange points for AI credits?

Reward points and AI credits are kept as separate units on your account on purpose — points are something you earn, credits are something you spend on AI features. The exchange is a one-way bridge between the two: any time you have spare points, you can convert them into credits.

The rules

  • Rate — 1 point converts to 1 AI credit. There's no discount and no bulk-rate.
  • Cap — up to 10,000 points per redemption. If you want to swap more, do another redemption.
  • No expiry — exchanged credits land in your top-up pool, which never auto-resets and never expires.
  • One-way — credits cannot be converted back into points.

How to do it

  1. Open Rewards from your dashboard.
  2. Find the AI credits tile in the catalogue.
  3. Enter the number of credits you want. The dialog shows your current points balance, the cost (same number, since it's 1:1), and confirms what your AI credit balance will look like after the exchange.
  4. Hit confirm. The points come off your balance and the credits arrive in your AI credits top-up pool immediately.

You can repeat the exchange as many times as you like, subject to having the points.

Where the credits go in your AI pool

AI credits sit in three sub-pools that drain in this order:

  1. Monthly allowance — your plan's automatic monthly bucket. Resets on the calendar-month boundary. Anything unused is forfeited.
  2. Welcome credits — the one-off 50 credits you got when you joined. Drained second.
  3. Top-up pool — paid top-ups and points-exchange credits. Drained last. Never resets, never expires.

That's deliberate: you get to use up the freebies first, and the credits you've actually earned (or paid for) only get touched once those are gone.

What it costs you in points

A few illustrative swaps, assuming you spend the credits on tools at their published rates:

Points you swapAI credits you receiveWhat that buys you
100100Spend at the costs shown for the chosen actions.
1,0001,000Usage depends on actions and the number of attempts.
10,00010,000Maximum single redemption; no guaranteed duration of use.

(Tool-specific costs are listed on the AI Credits page in your dashboard. They can change, but exchanged credits always retain their face value.)

When not to exchange

Two situations where keeping the points is the better play:

  • You're close to a subscription extension. 1,000 points buys a 1-month renewal extension. If you're already at 950, finish that off before swapping.
  • You're chasing a featured slot. 1,500 points buys a month on the homepage Featured section. The traffic from a featured month is usually worth more than the equivalent AI credits.

Tracking your exchanges

The Rewards Dashboard shows your full points history, including any redemption marked redeem:ai_credits_exchange. Your AI Credits page shows the matching ledger entry on the credits side, tagged rewards_exchange. The two should always reconcile — if they don't, raise a support ticket.

Why is the exchange capped at 10,000?

A few reasons. It keeps any individual redemption easy to audit. It nudges users to spend credits on actual AI work rather than treating the credits pool as a savings account. And it limits the upside of any earning exploit that slips past our anti-abuse alerts — even in the worst case, no single redemption can move more than 10,000 credits.

For an exchange problem, contact support with the relevant history entries. Do not assume support can override the redemption limit.
