How do I manage which schools I teach at?

Open My schools [blocked] under Account. This page lists the schools linked to your instructor profiles and the actions available for each membership.

Join a school

Accept or decline a school's pending invitation from the invitation banner. You can also search for a school and request to join from My schools, adding a short note. A request is not membership until the school accepts it. If the school has already invited you, respond to that invitation instead.

Office access and instructor affiliation are different permissions. A secretary or assistant should use a school staff invitation; joining an instructor team is for someone who teaches.

Primary school and photos

Use Set as primary on an eligible active affiliation to choose the profile's main school. Main-school tools use that context; choosing it does not move historic bookings to another school.

You can upload a custom photo for each school, or choose Use default to restore the instructor profile photo. Supported uploads are JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF up to 5 MB. Use images you have permission to publish. A school owner can also update the school-specific photo, so coordinate changes.

Leave a school

Select Leave, read the confirmation, and choose another primary school when requested. You can leave your only school; the instructor profile remains, and tools requiring a main school explain what to do next. Leaving an independently owned business may be restricted; use the explanation shown in the dialog.

Future work that can no longer remain assigned is returned to the school for reassignment. Past bookings keep their teaching history, while access to old client details is restricted. Discuss imminent lessons with the school before leaving so they can arrange cover.

A paused membership may still appear and can have different available actions. Do not assume a paused affiliation means you are available to receive new assignments.
