How do I open and publish my own independent listing?

An existing instructor can use Account → Go independent to check eligibility and open a private draft business listing. Complete and save that listing, then explicitly publish it from its dashboard.

Quick answer

Open /instructor-dashboard/go-independent, complete the checklist and security confirmation, then finish your draft listing in its dashboard. Saving the draft does not publish it.

How do I open and publish my own independent listing?

This route is for someone who already has an instructor profile and wants their own teaching business on FASS. If you are new, start with Register instructor. Keep using your existing account if you have one.

Open the draft

Open Go independent under Account and check the selected instructor profile. Enter the business name if wanted, country, main resort, currency, and the requested contact details. Choose a public contact email or Don't show a contact email; your private account email is not filled in automatically.

Read What's still needed. The checks include profile publication, any pause or ownership restriction, approved instructor verification, and whether the evidence supports independent teaching in the chosen location. Follow the offered Verification, Qualifications, or support links to resolve missing items. A school affiliation does not by itself authorise independent teaching.

When the checklist permits it, select Go independent and complete the security confirmation. This opens a draft listing. It does not immediately make the business public or make it your main school.

Finish and publish the listing

Open the new listing's dashboard and complete its profile. Save changes before publishing. The draft panel lists missing items such as the listing name, description, photo or logo, country, resort, or linked instructor profile. If country or resort is missing, complete the location controls and select Save location.

Select Publish independent listing only when the panel says the listing is ready and you want it public. Publishing makes the listing your main school; your other school affiliations remain. If a restriction requires support, completing a different field cannot bypass it.

Profile publication, verification, lessons, availability, and payment readiness are separate. Follow the booking-readiness checklist before expecting clients to book and pay online. Some additional resorts may need further country-specific evidence before they can be added.

What you keep

You keep your instructor profile, other affiliations, and existing lessons. Your past reviews can appear on your own listing while continuing to count for the schools they concerned. A school's Verified badge does not transfer as verification of your business.

When the new listing becomes your main school, tools previously covered by the old main school's plan may stop unless your own plan or trial covers them. Check Pricing and the entitlements shown in your new workspace.
