Quick answer

Open Lessons → Equipment check, choose or create a checklist, tick the items, and select Complete Check. Completions are tracked for the day; they are not a guarantee of equipment safety.

How do I use the equipment checklist?

Open Equipment check [blocked] under Lessons to work through the available checklist templates.

Complete a check

Expand a template, inspect the relevant equipment, and tick the items you have checked. Required items must be completed before the check can be recorded. Use Complete Check and wait for confirmation. The page shows checklists completed today.

The interface uses checked items, not separate Needs adjustment or Not applicable statuses. A daily completion is not automatically a separate signed checklist for every learner booking.

Create a reusable template

Use Create checklist, give it a name and activity, and add the items you need. Keep the template general: do not put a student's private medical or contact details into a reusable checklist.

Use the reset control to clear an unfinished check. Your custom templates have a delete control; built-in templates are treated separately.

Deal with problems before teaching

If boots, bindings, protective equipment, or specialist kit need attention, stop and involve the qualified rental technician or appropriate specialist. Recording a tick does not verify a binding setting or replace an equipment inspection by a qualified person.

Follow your school's safety procedures and local requirements. A checklist records what you entered; it does not certify equipment or establish that every legal duty has been met.
