# How do I see my students' progress?

Use the assigned booking to open Prepare for this lesson or Progress report. These views show the selected learner and the reports or preparation you are permitted to access.

## Quick answer

Use the assigned booking to open Prepare for this lesson or Progress report. These views show the selected learner and the reports or preparation you are permitted to access.

## How do I see my students' progress?

Start from **My bookings** in the [instructor dashboard](https://findaskischool.com/instructor-dashboard/bookings) and open the relevant learner's booking. The current instructor workflow is based on the lesson and its actual attendees, not an unrestricted school-wide student directory.

## Before teaching

Choose **Prepare for this lesson** where available. Select the learner and activity if the booking contains more than one. The preparation brief can show a previous placement, accessible earlier report goals, and questions deliberately shared for this booking.

If the brief is empty, discuss experience and goals with the learner or guardian. It does not mean that the learner has never skied; they may have no accessible record or may not have shared preparation.

## After teaching

Use **Progress report** for that booking and learner. Review any existing report, record the assessment and next steps, and publish once the lesson is recorded as taught. Private drafts are separate from published reports.

**Add Notes**, **Issue Certificate**, and **Share Progress** are separate booking actions where available. If you generate a progress link, share it only with the intended learner or guardian; use **Revoke** if access should end.

## Access follows the lesson

Current assignment, school membership, and sharing permissions determine what you can see. Opening a brief does not grant access to other private reflections or all records from another school. Leaving a school can restrict historic client information even while teaching history remains recorded.

School management has separate student-progress tools. Do not use someone else's account to work around a missing record; ask the school to check the booking assignment or contact FASS support.
