Quick answer
The Today ribbon shows earned activity achievements. Performance → My badges controls supported public profile badges, including up to three pinned badges and hidden badges; verification remains separate.
FASS has an activity-achievement ribbon and a separate set of public instructor profile badges. Read the label and criteria for the item you are viewing rather than treating all badges as the same award.
The Today view can show stored achievements with their name, description, and earned date. The ribbon is absent when there are none. These records reflect the achievement definitions implemented by the platform; there is no promise of every lesson-count, resort, or season milestone mentioned in an older guide.
Open My badges under Performance. For the earned profile badges shown there, you can pin up to three to appear first or hide badges from the profile, then save.
Criteria vary. Some use published reviews or other platform activity; others reflect information listed on the profile. Read the displayed explanation before describing a badge as an independently verified skill or qualification. Eligibility can change with the underlying data.
An achievement or profile badge is not an instructor verification decision. Instructor verification approved, School verification approved, and Verified school affiliation each describe a separate status scope.
See what the Verified badge means for the limits of those claims. Hiding a profile badge or changing its order does not change your application's approval status.
