# How do I change my school logo and cover photo?

Select the right school and open School → Profile & branding → Public school page → Logo & cover photo. Direct logo and custom cover uploads save after a successful upload; library choices and other draft branding changes need Save Branding.

## Quick answer

Open School → Profile & branding → Logo & cover photo. Confirm image rights, upload or choose a library image, and use Save Branding for library choices and other branding edits.

## How do I change my school logo and cover photo?

Select the school you intend to change, then open [School → Profile & branding](https://findaskischool.com/dashboard/page-branding). You can also find **Profile & branding** through dashboard search. Select **Public school page**, then expand **Logo & cover photo** if needed. Access depends on your current school-management permissions; being able to enter a school dashboard does not by itself grant permission to change its public profile.

## Public logo

Expand **Logo & cover photo** and find **School logo**. Confirm that you have permission to use the image, then upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB. This logo upload saves immediately after a successful upload.

Alternatively, choose **Choose logo from library** for an image available to your account. A library selection or **Remove logo** is a draft branding change: select **Save Branding** to save it along with your other branding edits. Wait for the saved confirmation before leaving.

The public logo is different from the separate dashboard logo. Changing the dashboard's branding alone does not replace the logo visitors see on the school profile or cards.

## Cover and presentation

In the same area, find **Default Hero Image**. Choose an available cover preset, use **Upload Custom Image**, or select **Choose from library** for an authorised image. For a custom upload, confirm the image-rights acknowledgement and choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB. The page recommends 1200 × 900 pixels.

A successful custom upload saves the uploaded cover image immediately. Selecting a preset, choosing a library image, or removing a custom cover changes the branding draft: select **Save Branding** and wait for the saved confirmation. Other colour and presentation edits also use **Save Branding**. An image appearing in the preview alone does not confirm that every draft change has saved.

Check the saved public page in both a narrow and wide view. A cover photo and the school's logo have different shapes, so use the preview to check that text remains readable and the important part of each image is visible.

## If you opened Edit School instead

The school profile editor also has **School logo / profile image**, with upload and library options. That editor keeps the selected image in its draft until you save the profile. A square image of at least 600 × 600 pixels is recommended there.

An image upload does not publish a draft independent listing. Complete its missing profile items and use **Publish independent listing** separately when you want that listing public.

## If you need help

Check the selected school before uploading or saving. If an upload button is unavailable, check the image-rights acknowledgement and wait for an in-progress upload to finish. If the page or save is refused, ask your school owner or administrator to check your management permissions.

If support offers **Show me how** for a logo or cover issue, the walkthrough can open the supported branding page and point out the relevant controls. You still select the correct school, choose the image, confirm its rights, and save any draft changes yourself. The walkthrough does not upload, approve image rights, or confirm that a saved public image is correct.

If the steps do not help, use **Continue with support** or [contact support](https://findaskischool.com/account/support). Include whether the problem concerns the public logo, cover photo, or dashboard logo, the steps you tried, and the error wording. Do not include passwords or other account secrets. Keep an existing request open until you have checked that the problem is solved.
