Quick answer
Add an existing FASS account from My Schools → Team and access. Choose booking, lesson-planning, assignment, or profile permissions, or use a saved role; an instructor profile is not required.
Secretaries, assistants, and booking coordinators can work with a school using an ordinary FASS account. They do not need an instructor profile or ownership of the listing.
Access starts immediately. This action does not send an invitation email, so tell your colleague to sign in and open the school workspace.
Operational permissions cover bookings, lesson planning, instructor assignment, and profile work. Saved roles let several staff members share the same permission set; changing a role changes access for its members. Custom permissions apply to that individual seat.
Only the school owner and platform administrators manage staff access, payouts, and ownership. An instructor's teaching-roster membership does not grant office permissions automatically. Give a teaching colleague a staff seat as well if they need operational access.
Search the card by name, email, or role. Change permissions or remove the staff member there when their responsibilities change. Transfer ownership is a separate action for handing the listing to a new owner; do not use it to give an assistant booking access.
A claim submitted as Manager or office staff follows a staff-access review rather than transferring ownership. The current owner adding the existing account is the direct route when ownership is already established.
