How do I set up the school calendar and scheduling?

Start by selecting the correct school. Today → Calendar shows booking activity, while Team → Team calendar helps coordinate instructor schedules and availability.

Build a usable schedule

  1. Set School → Operating hours.
  2. Publish your lesson types, durations, prices, and applicable resorts in the Lessons hub.
  3. Keep each instructor's availability and time off current.
  4. Review bookings and assignments in the calendar, including their status, school timezone, and location.

Use the available date and instructor controls to inspect a busy day. Check a change's saved result before treating it as confirmed; a view of availability is not itself a booking.

Import an existing rota

The CSV import in Team → Team calendar imports instructor availability. Download its current template, fill in instructor, date, start/end time, status, and note, then review validation errors before importing. It is not a bulk import of customers, paid bookings, lesson prices, or class capacity.

External calendars

Each instructor can connect Google Calendar or import a public iCal busy feed through their calendar integrations. Supported timed events contribute to conflict checks. An Export iCal download is a snapshot, not a continuously updating subscription.

Read the calendar integration guide before relying on recurring or all-day events: the iCal importer does not support every event format.

Keep outside commitments recorded accurately, and resolve conflicts before confirming a lesson or reassignment.
