Add a managed child without an email or login, or update a profile your current access allows you to edit.
Quick answer
Open Family at /my-bookings?tab=parent-dashboard. Under Your children, choose Add a child, complete the minimal form, and select Add child. To update an existing managed profile, use its available Edit control and Save changes.
Sign in to your learner account and open Family. A managed child profile belongs under Your children. It does not create a separate account, and it needs no child email or login.
Opening the page or dialog does not save anything. Enter the child's information in the website form rather than posting it in an AI conversation. An account can manage up to twelve child profiles.
Choose the Edit control beside the intended managed profile if your current permissions offer it. Check the name, optional birth year and profile estimate, then select Save changes yourself. Wait for the saved confirmation.
Shared profiles may have fewer controls than profiles you own. If editing is unavailable or access has changed, do not try to bypass that restriction. A profile estimate is separate from instructor-assessed progress, and updating it does not change a booking's recorded learners or assessed results.
An existing child account uses family account linking. Account invitations, temporary guardian access, lesson changes and photos are separate workflows.
Removing a profile and permanently erasing a child's recorded data are also separate actions. Read the actual warnings and confirm only if you intend that action. This add/edit guide performs neither and cannot restore deleted information.
Use Retry if the list fails to load; an error does not mean profiles are missing. Review the form's validation and wait for the success result before assuming a change was saved.
The reviewed walkthrough can open the page and highlight Your children without AI consent, a provider request or assistant credits. It cannot add, edit, remove or erase a child for you. A separate live AI conversation follows its displayed allowance and credit rules.
If these steps do not solve the problem, continue with human support. Keep an existing request open until you confirm the issue is resolved.
