Use Messages to contact a booked instructor or the school, with formatting, replies, saved messages, and report controls.
Quick answer
Open /my-bookings?tab=messages, choose the school or booked instructor, and send your message. Call the school for urgent matters; inbox replies are not guaranteed to be immediate.
Open Messages. Choose an existing school or instructor conversation, or use the available booked-instructor contact option. You can also start from the school's Message this school control.
Say which child and lesson your message concerns. Basic formatting helps structure information: bold, italic, underline, and lists. Use a message's Reply action to quote it or open its thread; Save keeps a private shortcut in the Saved view.
Formal lesson notes and progress have their own dashboard sections. Do not expect every progress record, photo, or certificate to appear automatically in an instructor message thread.
On a narrow screen, open Conversation overview to reach people, lesson offers and the separate AI-context choice. On a wide screen, those tools can appear beside the conversation.
Where available, People lets authorised participants invite another person. New participants do not automatically receive earlier messages; access to earlier history requires the approvals shown. A guardian's family access does not itself add them to every conversation.
Only share the child's information needed for the lesson. Use the dedicated consent fields for health information instead of placing detailed medical records in ordinary messages.
Manage optional message emails in Notifications → Preferences. Instructors may be teaching and unable to reply promptly. For an urgent lesson-day concern, call the school; use local emergency services for an emergency.
The message menu includes Report, with a reason and optional explanation, and spam controls. Reports are flagged for platform review. If you have a safeguarding concern, contact the school and use Report a concern as appropriate. See using the inbox for the full messaging guide.
