How do I plan family lesson drop-offs and collections?

Use Family Day Plan for authorised confirmed lessons, private adult labels, timetable checks and a downloaded day pack.

Quick answer

Open /my-bookings?tab=family-day, choose the day, assign responsible-adult labels and review conflicts, then Save day plan. These labels do not notify adults or authorise school collection. Download a fresh family day pack when needed.

How do I plan family lesson drop-offs and collections?

Open Family Day Plan and choose a day with authorised, confirmed and scheduled family lessons. Times use the school's local time. A pending request or an unauthorised family record is not a confirmed handover to plan.

Plan who will help

Add private adult labels under Who is helping?, choose a Responsible adult for each drop-off or collection, and set a Transfer buffer. Review overlaps, simultaneous handovers and transfers shorter than your buffer. Travel times and other adults' calendars are not checked; confirm the route and arrival instructions yourself.

Choose Save day plan and check its saved status. If another device changed the plan, Load latest plan before continuing. Recheck handovers when lesson times or meeting points change.

Adult labels do not send invitations, notify anyone, change a booking or authorise a child's collection. Confirm collection permissions directly with the school. Sharing with another FASS account uses the separate invitation controls: review the lessons, recipient and permission shown, and share the invitation only with that person.

Take a day pack

Choose Download family day pack to save a snapshot of that day's lessons, handovers and personal preparation. Keep it on a trusted device; your browser can print or save it as PDF. The file cannot update itself. Check FASS for changes before setting off and confirm the collection point with the school, as it may differ from the arrival meeting point.
