Setting Up Payments (Stripe Connect)

Stripe Connect allows you to receive payments directly from student bookings.

What is Stripe Connect?

Stripe Connect is a secure payment platform that:

• Processes student payments at checkout
• Transfers funds directly to your bank account
• Handles all payment security and compliance
• Supports multiple currencies

Setting Up

1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Payments
2. Click "Connect with Stripe"
3. You'll be redirected to Stripe to create or connect your account
4. Complete the Stripe onboarding (business details, bank account, identity verification)
5. Once verified, you're ready to accept payments

Payment Flow

1. Student books a lesson and pays through our checkout
2. Payment is processed securely by Stripe
3. Funds are transferred to your connected Stripe account
4. You can view all transactions in your Stripe Dashboard

Testing Payments

Before going live, you can test the payment flow using Stripe's test mode:

• Use card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 for test payments
• No real money is charged during testing
• Verify everything works before accepting real bookings
