Quick answer
Paid plans support additional payment options. Check the options actually offered for the selected lesson; request-only submissions take no payment and require the school to follow up.
Paid plans add deposit, pay-later, and offline-payment entitlements to the online payment available on Starter. The lesson and provider settings still determine which choices appear in a particular booking.
Open Money → Payments and the relevant lesson settings to review the controls available to your school. Do not promise a fixed-amount deposit, a configurable due-date schedule, or automatic saved-card balance collection unless the current form explicitly supports it.
Check the total, amount due now, outstanding balance, currency, and applicable cancellation terms. Put any direct-payment arrangement in the offer or communication with the learner.
An online deposit is charged on your school's Stripe account. FASS commission applies to the amount processed through the platform; money settled directly with you is not automatically collected by FASS.
The automated booking-refund path returns the captured online payment in full after the school approves the request. An unpaid balance has nothing to refund. For a partial card refund or a payment collected outside FASS, check with support or handle it through the appropriate payment system before promising a result.
School verification and Stripe readiness still apply to online collection, regardless of plan.
