Quick answer
FASS offers online booking where the provider and payment setup are ready; otherwise the form sends a lesson request. Check the booking label, payment status, and instructor assignment separately.
Your profile's booking action depends on the provider's current setup. Book online, Request a lesson, and an external booking link are different routes.
The final screen states what happened. A request is not a confirmed booking or a payment. The school must respond about availability, price, and next steps. Requests can also apply to parties that do not yet meet a group lesson's minimum size.
Use the booking-readiness guidance in the dashboard. Current provider verification, published lesson settings, availability, and Stripe readiness are separate requirements for online card payment. A paid subscription alone does not make a school bookable.
Open Today → Bookings. Check the status, lesson, date/time, learners, amount collected, and any requested instructor. Review matching suggestions and availability before assigning; a preference or recommendation is not the final assignment.
For online payments, the charge is made on the school's Stripe account and FASS commission is collected as an application fee. Stripe's processing fee is separate. Review cancellation or refund requests in the dashboard rather than assuming cancellation automatically refunds a card payment.
Equipment reserved as a lesson add-on is paid at collection separately from the lesson. Standalone rentals have their own payment flow.
