What is the AI daily summary, and how often does it refresh?

The AI Daily Summary is a short briefing that appears at the top of your student dashboard. It reads your next few lessons and the forecast for the resort where the first of them is, and writes them up as a few lines you can scan in seconds.

What it covers

• Your next few lessons — up to five upcoming bookings, each with date and time, lesson type, school, instructor and resort
• Weather on lesson day — conditions, temperature, wind and snow depth at the resort of your next lesson, from the same forecast data as the Weather Forecast page, including any weather alert in force there
• Practical notes for the day — what to wear or bring if a lesson is close, plus gentle reminders such as confirming a booking or checking your kit

It works from your upcoming bookings, so it has the most to say when you have a lesson coming up. With nothing booked, you'll get a short, general note instead.

What it doesn't cover

• It doesn't read your seasonal goals, practice items or lesson notes — those live in their own dashboard sections
• It doesn't look at lessons you have already had, so it won't nudge you to leave a review
• It only knows what is on the platform: your bookings and the forecast

How often it refreshes

A new summary is written the first time you open your dashboard each day, so it describes the day you are actually looking at. If something changes later on — fresh snowfall, a new booking — you can refresh it manually up to 5 times per day using the refresh button on the card.

The button shows how many refreshes you have left and stops working once you have used them all, and the count resets the next day. The limit is there because writing the summary takes a bit of AI processing; the cap keeps things fast for everyone.

Turning it off

If you would rather not have it, use the opt-out link at the bottom of the card, or switch off AI daily briefing in your dashboard's notification settings. The card shrinks to a single line with a "Turn it on" button, and nothing is generated for you while it is off. You can switch it back on from either place.

If something looks wrong

The summary is AI-generated and mostly accurate, but not infallible. If it gets something wrong — misreads a date, flags the wrong resort — ignore that line and refresh. Your actual bookings and data are never wrong; only the summary text that describes them occasionally is.
