Your Starter school profile has no subscription fee. Platform commission is 5% on new bookings and 1% on rebooks. Stripe processing fees also apply to online card payments.

Stripe's processing fee is charged to the school's or instructor's own Stripe account; it varies by country and card type and is not added to the learner's total. Find a Ski School's commission is collected from the same payment as a Stripe application fee, so any figure for what the school or instructor receives after that commission is before Stripe's fees.

All schools and instructors on Find a Ski School must pass our verification process, which checks business credentials and instructor qualifications, before they can use the booking software or accept student bookings.

What is Find a Ski School?

Find a Ski School is an independent directory platform that connects students with ski schools and instructors worldwide. We provide the booking software, but all lessons are delivered directly by the ski school. Schools keep full control of their pricing, availability, and student relationships.

How much does it cost?

No booking fees for skiers and learners, ever. The school or instructor pays the commission. Listing your profile is completely free on the Starter plan (5% commission per booking). Upgrade to any paid plan (Independent Instructor, School, or Multi-School) and enjoy 0% commission for your entire first year after your first booking. After year one, commission is 2%. Paid plans are billed annually; there are no monthly fees or long-term lock-in contracts.

How is Find a Ski School different from other platforms?

Find a Ski School is a directory-first platform. Paid plans start with 0% commission for the first year from the first booking, then 2%, and include an embeddable booking widget. We publish plan, commission and rebooking terms so schools can compare the current details with any alternative.

How do payments work?

You set up a Stripe account of your own on any plan, including the free Starter plan. When a student books and pays online, the payment is made to that account, and Find a Ski School's commission is collected from it as a Stripe application fee. Starter takes full online payments; paid plans also unlock deposits and offline payment options. The Starter plan has a 5% commission rate (1% on rebooks), while paid plans (Independent Instructor, School, Multi-School) reduce it to just 2% (0% on rebooks) — with 0% for your entire first year after your first booking.

My school is already listed. How do I claim it?

We have pre-populated many schools from public data. If your school is already listed, visit the Claim Your Profile page to verify your ownership. Once verified, you will have full control over your school's information, photos, and settings.

Can I embed the booking widget on my own website?

On a paid plan, you get a one-line embed code that adds a fully functional booking widget to your existing website. Students can browse your lessons and book without leaving your site. The widget inherits your branding and is fully customisable. Every plan, including the free Starter plan, gets the booking widget on your Find a Ski School profile.
