Gressoney-La-Trinité is a commune in the Val de Gressoney, which is part of the Aosta Valley region of Northwest Italy. It features one of the most scenic alpine ski resorts in the Aosta Valley. The town is situated at the foot of Monte Rosa, the second-highest mountain in the Alps. Gressoney-La-Trinité was first inhabited by the Walser people, an ethnic group from Switzerland who settled in the area in the 13th century. The town’s name is derived from the Walser word for grassy meadow. The resort of Gressoney-La-Trinité is a popular destination for alpine skiing and snowboarding. The ski area includes three main lifts: the cable car to Colle Bettaforca, the gondola to Colle Gentiana, and the chairlift to Punta Jolanda. There are also several cross-country ski trails in the area. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Gressoney-La-Trinité is also a popular destination for hiking and mountain biking in the summer months. There are several hiking trails in the area, including the trail to Colle Bettaforca and the Monte Rosa Hut.

The Good Life

Kids & Families

Gressoney-La-Trinite is a charming and family-friendly ski resort that welcomes children of all ages. The resort provides ski schools and designated children’s areas on the slopes to ensure a safe learning environment but the beginners area is not the biggest. However once you move on from the beginners there is lots of fantastic intermediate skiing.
