Maurice, born in Scotland, picked up skiing at the age of seven. At 18, he traveled to Austria for his initial ski instructor training and has since dedicated himself to teaching skiing full-time across Europe and the southern hemisphere. In 1997, he achieved the status of a fully qualified International Ski Teacher and relocated to Morzine in 2000. Maurice holds certification as a CSCF Ski Race Coach and serves as an Alpine Trainer for the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI).
Outside of skiing, Maurice enjoys mountain biking, riding motorbikes, kiting, and wakeboarding.
