School & Instructor Verification

To accept bookings through our platform, schools and instructors must complete our verification process. We check their licence details and qualifications to confirm they are qualified to teach. Verified providers display a Verified badge on their profile and gain access to our booking software, online payments, and student management tools. Schools that have not yet completed verification are still listed in our directory with their contact details, so you can reach out to them directly.

Secure Payments

All payments on Find a Ski School are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details are never stored on our servers. When you book through a verified school on our platform, your payment goes directly to the school’s own Stripe account. Find a Ski School never holds your funds — the transaction is between you and the school. Our platform applies a small commission which is handled automatically during the transaction.

Genuine Reviews

Our review system is designed to keep feedback honest and helpful. Only students who have completed a booking can leave a review, which means every rating reflects a real experience. Schools and instructors can respond to reviews, creating a transparent dialogue that helps future students make informed decisions.

Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Personal information is only shared with the school or instructor you book with, and only the details they need to deliver your lesson. We never sell your data to third parties. Our platform uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect all data in transit, and we comply with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR.

Reporting & Support

If something doesn't feel right, we want to know about it. Every listing includes a report function so you can flag concerns about a school, instructor, or review. Our team investigates every report and takes appropriate action, which may include removing listings that don't meet our standards. You can also reach our support team directly for any questions or issues.

Instructor Standards

We believe that great instruction starts with proper training. Find a Ski School encourages all instructors to hold recognised certifications from bodies such as BASI, ISIA, CSIA, PSIA, or equivalent national governing bodies. Certification details are displayed on instructor profiles where available, so you can see exactly what qualifications your instructor holds.

Community Guidelines

Find a Ski School is built on mutual respect between students, instructors, and schools. We expect all users to communicate honestly, honour their bookings, and treat each other with courtesy. Abusive behaviour, fraudulent listings, or attempts to circumvent our platform policies may result in account suspension. Together, we're building a community where everyone can enjoy the mountains safely.
