Getting started

From qualification to bookable profile in four clear steps.

Get your profile ready in four straightforward steps.

  1. 01

    Add Your Qualifications

Create your account and add the exact governing body, discipline, level and specialist credentials shown on your qualification evidence. Where a public licence lookup is available, you can use it to prefill some of your details.

  2. 02

    Build Your Free Profile

Add your biography, photo, teaching locations, languages, qualifications and specialities. Your profile can appear in instructor search as soon as it is created.

  3. 03

    Complete Verification and Add Lessons

Submit your instructor verification application through your dashboard. Approval records a scoped platform status; it does not by itself confirm any qualification or other evidence. Lesson publishing and booking also depend on the current platform gate and any requirements where you teach.

  4. 04

Connect Stripe and Start Taking Bookings

Connect your Stripe account for online payments, share your profile and start receiving enquiries and bookings through Find a Ski School.

Publishing and booking availability may also depend on the legal or professional requirements that apply where you teach.

Questions from instructors

PSIA-AASI Instructor FAQs

Clear answers about creating a profile, the instructor application status and where that status stops.

Is it free to create an instructor profile?

Yes. You can create a profile on the free Starter plan. Paid plans add further tools and lower commission.

Does adding my governing-body information verify me automatically?

No. A public lookup or registration detail may help create your profile, but an administrator separately decides your Find a Ski School instructor application. Approval does not by itself confirm any qualification or other evidence.

Can clients find my profile before verification is complete?

Your profile can appear in instructor search after it is created. Public lesson publishing and booking require the relevant FASS verification and any location-specific eligibility requirements.

Can I add more than one discipline or specialist credential?

Yes. Add each qualification separately using its exact governing body, discipline, level and title. This is particularly important for BASI and PSIA-AASI members with multi-discipline qualifications and for CASI members with Park or Carving certifications.

Does Find a Ski School confirm that I can legally work in every country?

No. An approved instructor verification application does not confirm permission to work, local registration, insurance or safeguarding. You remain responsible for meeting the rules where you teach.

How do online payments work?

Connect your Stripe account for automatic destination transfers. Find a Ski School creates supported online charges, receives the commission applicable to your plan as an application fee, and Stripe Connect transfers your share.

Can I connect Google Calendar?

Yes. Google Calendar can receive FASS booking events and provide busy times. iCal is separate: export FASS bookings or import a public busy feed; imported recurring, TZID-tagged and all-day events are skipped.

Can I add Find a Ski School to my own website?

Independent instructors can embed their Find a Ski School reviews. Ski schools can use the Find a Ski School booking iframe. A dedicated WordPress plugin is coming soon.

Do association members receive a discount?

Yes. PSIA-AASI-qualified instructors get 50% off any paid plan with code PSIA50. This subscription discount is separate from the first-year commission offer, and both can apply.
