Invite a parent, guardian or family member in Family & linked accounts, check the access direction, and remove a link through the normal confirmation controls.
Quick answer
Open /my-bookings?tab=account#parent-access. Choose who you are inviting, enter their email and select Send invite. The intended recipient must sign in to their invited address and accept.
Sign in to your learner account and open Account → Family & linked accounts at family account settings. This workflow links two accounts for following a learner's lessons and progress. It is separate from an invitation to join a school's staff.
Under Link another account, check Who are you inviting? carefully:
Enter their Email address and, if useful, a Personal note, then choose Send invite. Read the page's result. An invitation shown as pending is not proof that the email arrived, and it does not grant access before acceptance.
The intended recipient opens the original emailed link and signs in with the exact email address it was sent to. They review the access and choose Accept and link only if they agree. Never paste an invitation link or token into an AI chat or support message.
These invitations expire after 14 days. Ask the original sender for a fresh invitation if the link is missing, expired or revoked. A link sent to a different address cannot be accepted by changing the URL; sign in to the invited address or ask the sender to correct the invitation.
The sender can use Cancel on a pending invitation, review the browser confirmation, and create another invitation if appropriate. Normal sending limits still apply, and an existing live invitation or link can prevent a duplicate. If temporary shared access already exists, follow the page's instructions rather than expecting a permanent link to overwrite it.
Review You have access to and People with access to your account. Choose Cancel for a pending invitation or Remove for an existing link. Check the browser confirmation and wait for the access-removed result. Either side can remove a link using its authorised controls.
The assistant can offer to open and highlight these controls. You send, accept or remove access yourself. Opening a page does not confirm that a link was created or removed, and the assistant cannot retrieve another family member's private records for you.
A child without their own email account uses the separate Add a child flow. Temporary guardian permissions and shared family day plans have their own controls and are not configured by this permanent family-link walkthrough.
