The Austrian diploma cross-country instructor grade. Tyrol's applicant guidance lists Diplomlanglauflehrer as qualified cross-country teaching staff, separately from the trail-and-piste-limited Langlauflehrer and Anwärter grades.

What This Qualification Covers

  • The Tyrol guidance names Diplomlanglauflehrer for cross-country instruction and applies its express Loipen und Pisten restriction to the two lower Nordic grades. That difference is not a blanket permission for every off-trail or mountain activity.
  • The same guidance reserves leading and accompanying ski tours to separately qualified Schiführer, Snowboardführer or mountain-and-ski guides. A cross-country diploma must not be substituted for those qualifications.
  • This is a provincial teaching-grade example rather than a national syllabus. Check the actual issuing province and diploma; it does not itself establish school-operation authorisation or work permission abroad.

Training and Progression

  • Tyrol lists Diplomlanglauflehrer as its own examination before the relevant provincial commission. Check the completed diploma rather than a course-attendance record or a translation of the word Instructor.
  • Tyrol's recognition process asks for the underlying qualification, training and examination content and professional practice. Recognition of another province's or country's training is separate from being awarded this diploma.
