Valloire Galibier is a family-friendly ski resort located in the Alps, France. It’s within easy reach of Lyon, Annecy, and Grenoble, making it a popular choice for both winter and summer mountain vacations. The ski area of Valloire offers five slope sides, spanning 160 kilometers with 89 runs. It features two beginner areas and diverse skiing trails to cater to various skill levels. As part of the larger Galibier Thabor domain, which also includes Valmeinier, visitors can enjoy a wide array of activities beyond skiing.

How do you get to Valloire? Check out the information below!

  • Nearest airport: Chambéry-Savoie Airport (CMF) – approximately 109 km away.
  • Travel time by car: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a train from Chambéry to Saint-Michel-Valloire Station (approximately 2 hours) or a bus service from the airport to Chambéry train station, then change to another bus headed for Valloire (around 3 hours).
