The Stowe ski area is one of the larger ski resorts in New England and is located below Mt. Mansfield and on Spruce Peak. Mt.

Mansfield, at 1,339 meters, is the highest mountain in Vermont, with the resort offering 70 km of slopes served by 12 lifts, spanning 390m to 1,116m, and is accessible via Burlington International Airport.
