What This Qualification Covers

  • The published restriction is to pistes. This award must not be described as unrestricted off-piste, touring or park instruction; the source does not define a maximum learner level or specialist freestyle scope.
  • This is a snowboard grade, distinct from Skilehreranwärter. Tyrol's cited scope concerns teaching at a ski school and does not itself establish permission to operate a school.
  • Check the actual province, issuing body and exact qualification on the certificate. Tyrol's rules must not be assumed to apply throughout Austria.

FASS country rules

These are the active qualification conditions configured on FASS. They do not confirm that a person has met them or has permission to teach. Local professional and immigration requirements still apply.

No active FASS rule is recorded for these qualifications. This does not establish permission to teach or lack of recognition.

Training and Progression

  • Tyrol names a separate Snowboardlehrer-Anwärter examination, with preparation delivered by the Tiroler Schilehrerverband and the examination conducted by the relevant provincial examination commission.
  • Snowboardlehrer, Diplomsnowboardlehrer and Snowboardführer are separate examinations. Check the applicable association's current progression and entry requirements; a snowboard Anwärter certificate does not establish completion of any of those awards.

Check the awarding body's current syllabus for entry requirements, course dates, fees, and assessment rules.
