Austrian Snowboardlehrer

An Austrian snowboard-instructor qualification, distinct from the snowboard Anwärter grade. Tyrol's published applicant guidance lists Snowboardlehrer among the qualified staff for snowboard instruction at a ski school.

What This Qualification Covers

  • Tyrol's guidance lists Snowboardlehrer and Diplomsnowboardlehrer as snowboard-teaching grades, while applying an explicit piste-only restriction to Snowboardlehreranwärter. It does not define an exact learner range or confer an unrestricted guiding entitlement.
  • Tyrol's published guidance reserves leading and accompanying ski tours to separately qualified Schiführer, Snowboardführer or mountain-and-ski guides. This teaching award alone does not establish that guiding qualification.
  • Check the actual province, issuing body and exact qualification on the certificate. Tyrol's rules must not be assumed to apply throughout Austria.

FASS country rules

These are the active qualification conditions configured on FASS. They do not confirm that a person has met them or has permission to teach. Local professional and immigration requirements still apply.

No active FASS rule is recorded for these qualifications. This does not establish permission to teach or lack of recognition.

Training and Progression

  • Snowboardlehrer is a separately named provincial examination, with preparation through the Tiroler Schilehrerverband and assessment before the relevant examination commission. Verify that the full award was completed rather than inferring it from snowboard Anwärter training.
  • The provincial examination list treats Diplomsnowboardlehrer and Snowboardführer separately. The Snowboardlehrer title does not prove either the diploma or the guiding qualification; confirm current course-entry requirements with the association.

Check the awarding body's current syllabus for entry requirements, course dates, fees, and assessment rules.
