What This Qualification Covers

- Assessment includes teaching and development clinics, adaptive demonstrations and an original educational resource. The certificate does not itself establish an examiner or NZSIA staff appointment.
FASS country rules
These are the active qualification conditions configured on FASS. They do not confirm that a person has met them or has permission to teach. Local professional and immigration requirements still apply.
No active FASS rule is recorded for these qualifications. This does not establish permission to teach or lack of recognition.
Training and Progression
- Entry requires associate or full membership, NZSIA or SBINZ Level 3 Teach certification or an accepted overseas Level 3 qualification, plus Adaptive Level 2 or equivalent. A secondary-discipline Level 1 is strongly recommended rather than stated as compulsory.
- The published format is a two-to-three-day workshop and a one-day exam. Candidates relying on equivalent qualifications must complete the specified adaptive and main-discipline e-learning requirements.
