- Contain offensive or inappropriate language — Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, personal attacks, threats, or harassment of any kind are strictly prohibited
- Violate anyone's privacy — Do not include personal information about instructors, staff, or other students (such as full names, phone numbers, or addresses) without their consent
- Represent a conflict of interest — Reviews from competitors, employees of the reviewed school, or anyone with a financial interest in the review outcome are not permitted

5. Factors Outside the Provider's Control
We understand that external factors can affect your experience on the mountain. When reviewing, please consider that the following are generally outside the control of the ski school or instructor:
- Weather conditions (snow quality, visibility, temperature, wind)
- Lift closures or resort operational decisions
- Piste conditions and crowding
- Travel disruptions or accommodation issues
- Personal health or fitness levels
Reviews that are primarily negative due to factors outside the provider's control may be flagged for review. We encourage reviewers to focus on the aspects of the experience that the school or instructor could reasonably influence.
6. Review Ratings
Reviews on Find a Ski School use a 5-star rating system. Reviewers are asked to rate their experience across multiple categories to provide a balanced and detailed assessment. The overall rating displayed on school and instructor profiles is calculated as an average of all verified reviews.
We display all verified reviews, both positive and negative, to give an honest and complete picture of each provider. We do not selectively hide negative reviews that comply with our guidelines.
7. Review Moderation and Removal

Ski schools and instructors are prohibited from offering incentives to customers in exchange for positive reviews. Any reviews found to have been incentivised will be removed.
