What This Qualification Covers

  • The programme develops well-structured, interactive training for new instructors, including modelling a clear lesson approach and teaching others to create safe and useful learning experiences.
  • The designation supports snow-school training, Level 1 Course Conductor progression and entry towards Level 4. Holding it alone does not establish a Course Conductor appointment or full Level 4 certification.

FASS country rules

These are the active qualification conditions configured on FASS. They do not confirm that a person has met them or has permission to teach. Local professional and immigration requirements still apply.

No active FASS rule is recorded for these qualifications. This does not establish permission to teach or lack of recognition.

Training and Progression

  • The published entry options are CSIA Level 3 or CSIA Snow Park Level 2, together with an interest in developing other instructors' skiing and teaching skills.
  • The programme comprises two days of Trainer Development and a one-day Trainer Exam. The Level 4 programme separately requires both full Level 3 and the Trainer Designation.
