BASI Snowboard Coaching Certification

What This Qualification Covers

  • BASI's certification description limits the holder to assisting competition training within the underlying instructor qualification. It is not an independent extension of terrain, learner, or guiding authority.
  • The dedicated snowboard coaching course shares the common competition-coaching programme and explicitly identifies freestyle as the snowboard focus. Content includes training-objective planning, athlete development, performance analysis, and competition preparation.
  • The course also considers governing bodies, physical preparation, nutrition, and psychology. A personal black-run entry standard is distinct from the learners or features the holder may coach, and no unspecified park-feature limit is inferred.
