NZSIA Ski Level 3

Alpine skiing · New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance

What This Qualification Covers

The published learner range includes all levels through advanced and expert skiers.
All-mountain teaching describes the qualification's educational scope. Terrain access, guiding activities and local professional permissions still depend on the destination and the instructor's completed training.
The separate NZSIA Ski Trainer Certification is not established by holding Level 3. Eligibility to apply for an ISIA Stamp is also distinct from evidence that a current stamp has been issued.

FASS country rules

These are the active qualification conditions configured on FASS. They do not confirm that a person has met them or has permission to teach. Local professional and immigration requirements still apply.

Training and Progression

The route includes two three-day workshops and a four-day exam, following Ski Level 2 or an accepted foreign equivalent, membership and the required current e-learning. Both workshops must be attended before the exam.
Full Level 3 also requires two supporting certifications from the published race, freeski, children's and freeride options; one may instead be an eligible second-discipline Level 1 plus one listed specialist award. The Trainer Certification and ISIA designations each have additional requirements.

Check the awarding body's current syllabus for entry requirements, course dates, fees, and assessment rules.
