What This Qualification Covers
- The course focuses on first-time through wedge-turning children, using child development, student profiles, movement patterns, safety and group handling to make lessons effective and engaging.
- It supplements the main Ski Level 1 certificate. An uncertified working instructor may apply to attend, but receives only an attendance record until Ski Level 1 certification is achieved.
FASS country rules
These are the active qualification conditions configured on FASS. They do not confirm that a person has met them or has permission to teach. Local professional and immigration requirements still apply.
No active FASS rule is recorded for these qualifications. This does not establish permission to teach or lack of recognition.
Training and Progression
- The two-day course requires associate or full membership and Ski Level 1 or an accepted foreign equivalent, subject to the stated attendance-only exception.
- Assessment uses a short teaching presentation and an online multiple-choice quiz. Children's Ski Teaching Level 2 develops lessons for intermediate and advanced children.
