Ajda took her first steps on the snow on the hill behind her house. With ski slopes right at her doorstep, it was only natural for her to become a ski instructor and race coach. She competed in ski racing from the age of 6 to 15 with her local ski club and eventually became a coach herself, working with children under 8 years old. In this role, she taught skiing techniques and prepared them for competitions. Last year, Ajda started learning snowboarding and found it fascinating to experience being a beginner on the snow again and reminded her of what it feels like to be a student!
