Grouse Mountain

Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain offers one of the world's best urban panoramas from its summit. The Skyride gondola takes eight minutes to reach the top, where spectacular views of downtown, the ocean, and Vancouver Island await on clear days. Night skiing every evening, combined with the city lights, creates the quintessential Grouse experience.

Given its limited terrain, Grouse Mountain is ideal for a half-day or evening visit, or as a dedicated learn-to-ski destination.

Grouse Mountain is easily accessible, located just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Visitors can reach the base by car or public transit, via SeaBus and bus. From the base, the Skyride gondola provides an eight-minute journey to the summit.

Grouse Mountain offers main runs with a consistent pitch, particularly appealing to intermediate skiers. The resort is open for night skiing every evening, adding a unique character to the slopes under the city lights.

Beginners will find excellent learning terrain on the summit plateau. The Cut run is a gentle green slope that also offers impressive city views.

For advanced skiers, steeper terrain can be found in the Coffin and Peak Chair areas. However, advanced options are limited overall at Grouse Mountain.
