Getting started
Get your profile ready in four straightforward steps.
Create your account and add the exact governing body, discipline, level and specialist credentials shown on your qualification evidence. Where a public licence lookup is available, you can use it to prefill some of your details.
Add your biography, photo, teaching locations, languages, qualifications and specialities. Your profile can appear in instructor search as soon as it is created.
Submit your instructor verification application through your dashboard. Approval records a scoped platform status; it does not by itself confirm any qualification or other evidence. Lesson publishing and booking also depend on the current platform gate and any requirements where you teach.
Connect your Stripe account for online payments, share your profile and start receiving enquiries and bookings through Find a Ski School.
Publishing and booking availability may also depend on the legal or professional requirements that apply where you teach.

IASI provides instructor pathways across Alpine, Snowboard and Telemark, together with Adaptive qualifications and specialist coaching, safety and language modules. Add each discipline and level separately so clients see the exact professional pathway you have completed.
Qualification areas
Areas the body publishes, listed as it names them. Which awards an individual instructor holds is shown on their own profile.
The first award in the Alpine pathway. Level 1 holders can work in a closed or controlled environment, such as an artificial slope, indoor snow dome or monitored beginner snowsports learning area.
Level 2 opens further opportunities with recognised ski schools. Holders can work on piste in an open mountain environment for a recognised ski school.
A modular professional award that meets the minimum standards required by ISIA and IVSI. Holders receive the relevant ISIA and IVSI stamps on their licence.
The highest award in the IASI Alpine system, intended for those pursuing a career in snowsports instruction. Its outcomes include Euro Ski Pro under the EU Common Training Test standard and the ISIA Card.
IASI lists this as a specific qualification for working on rolling-carpet slopes and an alternative pathway to the Alpine Level 1 Ski Instructor award.
The first award in the Snowboard pathway. Holders can work in the closed environment of an artificial slope or indoor snow dome.
Level 2 opens further teaching opportunities with snowsports schools. Holders can work on piste in an open mountain environment for a recognised snowsport school.
A modular professional award that meets the minimum standards required by ISIA. Holders receive the ISIA stamp on their licence.
The fourth level in IASI's Snowboard instruction strand. IASI states that the ISIA Card is awarded at Level 4. Its published detail currently focuses on Levels 1–3.
Candidates choose a specific Adaptive module (for example monoski, biski, 3 Track, 4 Track, visual impairment or hidden disabilities). The qualification allows the holder to teach that confirmed discipline in the closed environment of an artificial slope or indoor snow dome.
Level 2 courses cover the Adaptive disciplines and allow holders to work on piste in an open mountain environment for a recognised ski school.
The first of IASI's two published Telemark instructor-course levels. Level 1 candidates must also complete the required Child Protection Training as part of the award.
The second of IASI's two published Telemark instructor-course levels.
The first step in IASI's Freestyle coaching pathway. It complements an existing instructor qualification and is one of the modules used by ski instructors working towards the IASI Level 3 ISIA Stamp.
The second step in IASI's Freestyle coaching pathway, building on the Level 1 coaching certification for teaching and demonstrating freestyle skiing and snowboarding safely in terrain parks.
IASI publishes a Level 1 Race Coach qualification pathway, with assessment criteria and a manual.
The first award in IASI's Mountain Safety pathway. It forms part of the Level 3 Ski Teacher and Level 3 Snowboard Teacher awards. Holders can work off piste within ski-area boundaries where ski patrol operates, provided the ski school and applicable local laws allow it.
The highest award in IASI's Mountain Safety pathway and part of the Level 4 Ski Teacher award. It covers working outside ski-area boundaries, except on glaciated terrain or where mountaineering techniques are required, subject to applicable professional and legal restrictions.
A supporting oral-examination module required for the ISIA Stamp and Card. It assesses practical communication for mountain work, including emergencies, directions and basic instructor conversations; it is not a test of full fluency.
Qualification recognition and permission to work vary by country, resort, employer and the holder's additional credentials. Instructors remain responsible for meeting the legal and professional requirements that apply where they teach.
