Visitors often ski to Zermatt for the spectacular scenery and return to Cervinia for more affordable dining.
Intermediate skiers will find Cervinia particularly rewarding. The resort specialises in long red runs, notably from Plateau Rosà (3,480m), offering over 1,400m of vertical descent.
