Quiet Central Base with Access to Monterosa’s Best Slopes
Gressoney is a small village in the middle of the Monterosa ski area offering easy access to some of the best red and black slopes. The village itself is very basic but it is centrally located and much less busy than Champoluc. You can easily access both Alagna and Champoluc as it sits right in the middle of both. It is worth noting that there is not a lot going on in Gressonay, I think there is one hotel and one bar, however the skiing either side of it is great. If you are looking for a lively town, a party town or a town that has something going on, it is not the place to be! If you want a super quiet resort that has good skiing for a week then you can find that here.
