About International Snowsport School
International Snowsport School, led by owner and director Duncan Adamson, offers personalised private ski lessons and professional instructor development. Private lessons are available as a two-hour session or a flexible ten-hour block. Instructor development is offered in flexible fifteen-hour blocks, with year-round training at Glasgow Ski Centre, Bellahouston Park.
The course catalogue includes UK Snowsport Level 1 Foundation and Level 2 ski instructor training, Mountain Induction Training, and safeguarding and blended first-aid courses delivered by World Class Training. Two-day UKSS foundation training (minimum 14 hours); further practice, assessment and licensing are required.
Two-day UKSS Level 2 training (minimum 14 hours) for confident parallel skiers; confirm qualification entry requirements.
Minimum eight-hour UKSS mountain induction for eligible instructors and coaches aged 16+.
World Class Training online safeguarding course: approximately 45 minutes, £25, complete within 14 days.
World Class Training first aid: one online evening plus one practical day, for ages 16+.

Fantastic & Knowledgeable Instructor
Duncan is one of the best ski instructors I have ever had! The lessons he gave were fantastic and the knowledge and the way he shares it is next to none. Duncan has the ability to teach everyone from complete beginners all the way through the next generation of ski instructors through his time being a BASI and ISIA Trainer. The lessons are fun, engaging and he finds ways to explain complex ideas in an understandable manner. Highly rated!
